Dr. Maestas is no stranger to guest-hosting the show, and there’s no one we trust more to help us share the latest dental education updates. Dr. Maestas has spent the last several years onboarding new digital technologies in her dental office, and we are so excited to provide you with a first look at what's working, what’s not, and the challenges she’s experienced along the way as she moves her digital footprint forward. Dr. Maestas is the host of multiple dental podcasts, Dental Fuel & New Dentists on the Block, that offer fresh perspectives on the dental industry. Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Maestas graduated from University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in 2018 and completed an AEGD residency the following year. She now serves as Dental Director at a practice outside of El Paso & serves as a part-time faculty member at the Woody L Hunt School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Maestas has continued her involvement in organized dentistry by serving in numerous roles with organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Hispanic Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and the El Paso District Dental Society. She was recently named the Texas New Dentist of the Year.
