All dentists could use a little dose of the empathy he has towards his patients. Dr. Mitrani helps us understand where patients are emotionally, behaviourly and cognitively to help get the best diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Mitrani has authored many scientific articles and chapters in textbooks on implant prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry. He has given more than 500 lectures in 30 countries, maintains a private practice in Mexico City limited to prosthodontics and implants, serves as an instructor in Spear Seminars, frequently contributes to Spear Digest, and develops numerous lessons for Spear Online. Dr. Mitrani has authored many scientific articles and chapters in textbooks on implant prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry and has given more than 500 lectures in 30 countries. He maintains a private practice, Grupo Dental Bosques Oral Health & Smile Design, in Mexico City, limited to prosthodontics and implants. As a valued Spear Resident Faculty member 2016, Dr. Mitrani serves as an instructor in Spear seminars, frequently contributes to Spear Digest, and develops numerous lessons for Spear Online. Dr. Avi Schetritt, Board Certified Periodontist with the DINKS
Send us Fan Mail Lasers in perio, its a hot topic and one we will discuss in great detail in this episode with Dr. Avi! Dr. Avi Schetritt is a board-certified Periodontist. He grew up in Montreal, Canada, where he completed his undergraduate studies at McGill University. He then went on to receive his dental degree (DMD) at the University of Montreal. After two years in general private practice, Dr. Schetritt attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada, where he completed his periodontal residency program. Dr. Schetritt is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI). “Dr. Avi” as he likes to be called, is a devoted educator, and lectures nationally and internationally on soft tissue procedures, laser periodontal therapy, bone regeneration and implants. He has also authored several articles and textbook chapters on these topics.
