He is a researcher who has published over 200 articles, abstracts, book chapters, and periodicals related to dental materials. He is also a clinician who uses new types of dental materials to asses their strengths and shortcomings in his practice. Finally, he is an educator who is passionate about presenting dental materials in a light that is more understandable and exciting than you may have been taught in dental school.

She is a certified advanced wine sommelier, WSET level 2 certified, and is French wine scholar. She recently merged her passion of dentistry and wine with her new venture “Stained tooth dental education” where she offers dental CE located in beautiful wine regions around the US and Canada.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Brown holds a PhD in molecular biology, completing his doctoral work at the National Institutes of Health, efforts that led to many peer-reviewed publications and grant funding from the Radiological Society of North America. His research interests focus on advancing precision pain medicine and image-guided pain interventions. Dr. Brown is Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of DentalRay, a nationwide platform providing comprehensive radiology services to dental professionals. About Dr. Mehta: Dr. Mehta is a practicing neuroradiologist who completed residency and fellowship training at UTSW, developing advanced skills in brain, maxillofacial, head/neck, and spine imaging as well as minimally invasive spine and pain procedures. Dr. Glazer is an Attending Dentist at the Englewood Hospital (Englewood, NJ). Additionally, Dr. Glazer is the Deputy Chief Forensic Dental Consultant to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, City of New York. For the past several years, Dr. Glazer has been named as one of the “Leading Clinicians in Continuing Education” by Dentistry Today, and was named as one of the Top Dentists in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly, 201 Magazine, and Bergen Magazine. He lectures throughout the United States, Canada, and overseas, on the subject of dental materials, cosmetic dentistry, forensic dentistry and patient management. Dr. Glazer is a frequent author of dental articles and has been published throughout the world. He previously published a column in AGD IMPACT entitled “What’s Hot and What’s Getting Hotter!” Presently, he publishes the column “I Have It..You Need It!” in Dental Economics, and a podcast contributor to Through the Loupes. He maintains a general practice in Fort Lee, NJ.

AIRWAY PROSTHODONTICS with Dr. Jeff Rouse. About Dr. Rouse: Jeffrey S. Rouse, D.D.S. maintains a private practice in San Antonio, Texas and practiced with Drs. Gregg Kinzer and Frank Spear in Seattle, Washington. In 2017, he became a member of the Resident Faculty at Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ. He was also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio from 2004-2019. After graduation from dental school in San Antonio, Dr Rouse completed a 2-year General Practice Residency at the University of Connecticut Health Science Center. He practiced family dentistry for twelve years before returning to school. Dr Rouse received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontists, and past president of the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Rouse has written numerous journal articles including a portion of the “Annual Review of Selected Dental Literature” published each summer in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. He has a textbook published in 2016 by Quintessence titled "Global" Diagnosis: A New Vision of Dental Diagnosis and Treatment Planning written with his teaching partner, Dr. Bill Robbins. Furthermore, he has contributed chapters on porcelain veneers and anterior ceramic crowns to three editions of a dental textbook. Dr. Rouse lectures nationally and internationally on a wide variety of topics ranging from dental esthetics to airway prosthodontics.

Send us Fan Mail Dr. Thompson believes in an interdisciplinary treatment model that coordinates dental care with other medical practitioners for total body health care for his patients. He employs advanced DNA bacterial testing methods and other leading-edge dental science to enable early risk assessment and personalized treatment planning. He cofounded and helped lead an interdisciplinary study club attended by more than 40 dentists, which had representation from all dental specialties and focused on comprehensive treatment planning. In addition to his dental training, Dr. Thompson is pursuing a Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. In this continuum, he has presented to physicians a program titled, “Periodontal Disease and the Heart: A Collaborative Opportunity” in their Fellowship module XVI-D titled, “Metabolic Cardiovascular Medicine.” Dr. Thompson has published professionally in the June, 2010 publication of Dentistry Today an article titled, “Salivary Testing for Periodontal Disease Diagnosis and Treatment” and in the December, 2012 publication of Inside Dentistry an article titled, “Verifiable Outcomes Using Salivary Diagnostics in Periodontal Medicine: Test and retest for clinical success.” He has also authored an online course available in the U.S. and Australia titled, “Personalized Periodontal Medicine: The Future is Here! Advancing the Health of Your Patients, Your Team and Your Practice!” In 2016 Dr. Thompson founded the Wellness Dentistry Network which is an internet based community of dentists with a keen awareness of how oral conditions affect whole body health. He also assists dentists and their teams with implementation strategies designed to put knowledge to work in their daily practices. Building a knowledge base of how to integrate oral health issues with medical health issues continues to evolve. Getting started, keeping current, and growing is the challenge in this exploding area.
